I actually like the wall color now. It seems to pick up some of the minor tones in the granite, no? Or is that just a trick of the light and photo? Everything so far is looking lovely!

Funny you say that. This was my old paint color. It does fit in for sure. However my husband in his zeal to clean, disposed off the remaining wall paint years ago. It was a mix so I've no idea what it was! With two kids and messes with the remodel, we need to repaint.

So far so good, even the wall color fits well with the new color scheme.

Has anyone ever painted their cabinets white as opposed to replacing or refinishing? We gave washed wood and want to go white. Wondering if they can just be painted

We didn't replace it refinish. We had light maple cabinets. A mutual friend's Dad whose a painter did them. He sanded them really well then spray painted the doors. As for the wood parts attached, he used a brush. The sanding was very time consuming. We used Benjamin moore white dove high gloss paint. From the houzz site it was the white that had the best reviews. A warm white that's not stark.
