I am looking for recommendations of how to lay out the furniture in my living room. The living room space is open to the kitchen/dining as you see in the floorplan (which I just made for the first time so hopefully it makes sense!). Our front door opens into the living room with a small closet on one side and laundry and utility closets on the other. The tv hookup is in a niche on that far wall, but the main attraction of the room would be the gas fireplace which is awkwardly in the off center of the room.

We want a layout that is comfortable to watch tv, and are considering re-wiring so the tv can be above the fireplace. I have something in mind but would love to hear any ideas! Also, and I can't figure out any solutions that would help with this, but the utilities can be quite loud since they are in the closet in the room.
