I think the patterns would look better if they were reversed. The pillow pattern used on the chair and the chair pattern used on pillow.

Seems like the room may be a little pattern heavy. Maybe a solid color pillow on the chair or put a little basket with guest snacks...water bottle ...magazines...etc. I do lilt the prints a lot tho'. usually a chair in a guest room gets used for a catch all or to take off your shoes...so no pillow is ok too

@ritasj...I like your idea of removing the pillow from the chair and adding a couple of books to the garden stool, and/or add a small pillow maybe in a solid gray. I will not be changing the pillows on the bed, I think they work nicely together!

The key to mixing patterns and colors is scale. Each pattern should be slightly different scale and design. Like a med. stripe, with a mini pattern and a large pattern. I like the bed fabric matching but think the pillow on the chair is to close in scale and pattern to the chair fabric.

I agree Rachel! I've removed the pillow and like the chair without a pillow!

Ps: if it was mine I would introduce a solid in unexpected color.
