Is this suitable for a shower wall?

Most tile shops selling mother of pearl say it is not suitable for wet applications. How is your mother of pearl different?

Absolutely! It's suitable for showers and pools. It comes from fresh water rivers so there is no problem with water. Some mother of pearl tiles are dyed therefore they will fade over time especially if they are placed in a shower. Ours tiles are never dyed and completely natural. We've attached a few photos here that show our mother of pearl tiles in showers. We've been installing them for years in showers without any problems.

One important thing to keep in mind is that mother of pearl tiles are thin
(naturally about 2 mm because it comes from an oyster). For people who are not used to working with mother of pearl that worries them a bit in the beginning, but mother of pearl is very durable (more durable than many types of marble).

Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any questions.
