Off Centered Stove

Please help! Remodeled kitchen, but did not center the stove. Have new cabinets installed, but wanting a wooden hood/mantle above stove. I can have this at a 30 inch width and keep what's already there or I can take cabinets out and go wider with hood but have extra space left over to fill on the right. Any advice would help!

A wine rack? Near a stove? Are you serious? Do you even drink wine? Why not just store the milk there, too?

Never put wine or spices near a stove!

Are the counters symmetrical? If so, I'd hate to say It but my inclination would be to remove those three cabs and put just the hood over stove... Figure out some other sort of decoration?

i would not put that wayyyyyyyyyyyyy high upper cabnet in. or like above maybe just the outside cabinets and hood.

on the left the counters continue and curve to another area where the sink is and a serving area where you can sit. To the right it ends with the cabinet :(

My contractor is saying it needs to go to the ceiling to hide the ventilation??? My ceilings are 10 ft

I would take that one right cabinet down and but a wine rack in. Attach ti to the cabinet.

I would take out the closer two cabinets and the upper cabinet and choose a hood that extends outside of the range and all the way to the ceiling.

I didn't look above the last post. I hate it when people resurrect dead posts! Very bad Internet etiquette. Almost as bad as suggesting storing wine near the stove. geez! Clueless.
