I've decided to put a double oven in the space where my microwave was. I moved my refrigerator from this space and I am considering extending the countertop with the stone and putting the microwave on a shelf the same height as the cabinets. The space is 36 inches wide and the microwave is 24 inches wide. I was thinking about enclosing it with wood and having a cubby for cookbooks etc. any advice?
