Thank you for your kind words. That's an ipe wood deck. It originally had a Penofin sealer on it but the client decided not to reseal it every year and liked the grey finish. That is the natural color of the wood with age.

beccasmithsoso note also that Ipe in its weather look won't crack or split like pine or other softer woods do and won't need any water sealing or anything. Regular maintenance like sweeping and maybe a wash down with water once in a while will keep it looking beautiful.

Thanks, that's a good point. One of the many things we love about ipe. It also doesn't have knots and lots of grain which gives it a Modern look.
