My dinig room is identical and I want to paint my corner cabinets like these...What is the technique? Color? Glazing? and are they primed first?

As an interior designer, I love mixing finishes. A primer is always needed when painting over a wood finish. This looks like a base paint with glaze. Remember as you layer color, the base color changes when the glaze is laid over it. You also dictate how much glaze is left behind when you take a cloth to rub it off. That can change the color as well.

I actually didn't prime these cabinets. They're painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, which doesn't require a primer base coat. I used Old White inside and Louis Blue outside. I then distressed them, added clear furniture wax and then dark wax to antique the finish.
