A coffee table or cocktail ottoman will help pull the conversation area together.

Drapery panels on the windows will help the room feel more complete. I would do a large scale pattern as the room is all solids.

If you can find a second chair to match the one between the windows I would have them as a pair and pull them closer (all feet on the rug) so they are a part of the conversation zone. When furniture is against the wall it almost always feels disconnected.

Lighting is really important. Aim for three sources in any room (pendant over coffee table? Recessed lighting? Lamps on console? Floor lamps flanking sofa? Hang pendants in front of window?)

    Best of luck to you!

We need more angles on room. Does it open to dining/kitchen. What is your budget? Are you keeping everything you have? Do you want the same color scheme to continue. In other words: design is a collaborative processl

Oh yes, you have no lighting: so spend some dollars and have lighting person come out to help. I don't think they will charge.

This is a really nice room. I would put a coffee table or cocktail ottoman in front of the sofa with some accessories tying the room together. I would also put a matching chair with a small table between them in front of the windows. A beautiful piece of artwork or mirror would look great on the wall behind the sofa. I would also put an end table with a lamp on each side of the sofa. Some patterned pillows on the sofa and patterned window treatments would also be great to add some interest. Good luck with your room!!!

I'd move the console table behind the sofa so you can add a lamp there. You need lighting and it doesn't look like a lot of space is available by the sofa. Then, a round table between the chairs with a nice lamp. I agree the chair between the windows is out of place. Perhaps a bench there? A light and airy coffee table would look nice in front of the sofa.

Console table between the two windows with a lamp and a mirror above. Try hutch in the middle of the wall and place blue chairs on either side. Above each chair, add two prints one above the other, with all four being a set. Place couch where two chairs were and add a large square coffee table. See inspiration picture, just flip sides and instead of settee, your single chair would be to the side nearer the couch. I would pull the blinds down a bit to give the windows more emphasis. Add an ivory rolled pillow on each blue chair and more pillows on couch.[houzz=
