At home tea is our daily choice (at work it's different). But coffee at home on a relaxing Sunday morning is our tradition.

Aiga, I read that a cup of coffee a day is healthier for you than total abstention. Whatever. If the decaffeination process was done by water, and especially if the beans are organic, surely a cup a day won't hurt. I was brought up on tea from a very young age, drinking at least six cups a day, and that comes to quite a bit of caffeine,,, needless to say, I am a real teapot, though I do have a coffee every morning in bed which my husband brews for me.

Love my tea with milk and sugar...several cups per day..but who's counting

Coffee is good, but tea is sublime. Planted my own tea bush this year.

We love both coffee and tea. No matter the season we always start the day with a cup of freshly ground coffee with flavored creamer. We are pretty health conscious, so during the work week we make a pot that holds just two cups of coffee. We make a large pot of coffee on the weekends and enjoy relaxing with our coffee on those mornings.

In the summer months, we drink iced tea nearly every day, and in the winter we drink hot tea throughout the day.

Unless we have guests for dinner we never make coffee other than for breakfast.

Like coffee because of the aroma it spreads around the area.. you can easily make out that some one is preparing or drinking coffee around you..... either instant or filter, coffee is the best to keep you fresh day long...........wow....

Since I'm an early riser I usually go for a glass of iced tea first thing. Then I take my meds while the coffee brews. Will drink a pot during the am then switch to ice tea in the afternoon but there is nothing better than a good cup of coffee after dinner sitting outside watching the river go by. I don't think I could live without both.

While I LOVE the smells of coffee and tea, I truly don't care for the taste of either. My house drinks a lot of Gatorade actually...

While tea has antioxidants and healing properties and even coffee has proven to have some health benefits when balanced with plenty of water consumption please be careful of ingesting too much sports drink - they are one of the beverages shown to increase uric acid in the body and along with a diet of rich proteins like meat and seafood along with any alcohol, a person can increase their risk of gout - I know not exactly the topic but I worry about the pain associated with gout flare ups

I like a "dirty" chai tea latte. It's the best of both worlds. Coffee(espresso) & tea in one yummy drink.
Never tried that, just might have to! : )

HOT coffee w/ cream and ICED tea w/ sugar!!!!!! Overall, I drink more iced tea than coffee. I rarely drink hot tea.
Coffee in the morning - hot, black (made with hazelnut beans and 1/3 decaf); iced or hot tea in the afternoon or evening (green or black tea) Decaf or regular, it's the flavor that the most important after noon!

@whynottryit: I too had coffee since I was a baby and loooove it! I am also a tea drinker. Truly two of the finest beverages on earth.
We are both! Coffee first thing in the morning, the Tea.

Caffeine doesn't effect me so I don't need coffee in the morning. Only drink it occasionally for the taste. Love my tea most of all. My main drinks are chai and black tea with non-dairy milk and sugar. Make myself giant containers of lemon-iced tea in the summer. Herbal tea with honey when I'm sick.

Yes. Both Caffeine is my drug of choice.
Earl Grey with honey. Lemon and honey in brisk black tea or herbal blends. Coffee with lots of cream and sugar or one of those sweet flavored creamers. All of them taste best from a real ceramic cup or mug.

My husbands requested Christmas present of a K-Cup coffee maker has got me drinking coffee all day long! Used to have to pay and drive a crazy distance for cappuccino and flavored coffee, now I can make them by the cup all day - have a dozen favors to choose from. It's actually fun to mix two favors in one large cup - so coffee all the way now!

Health issues do not allow any stimulant. I have a cup of hot water with Apple cider vinegar and honey in the morning.

Bless your heart, cheriealford. I'd be curled up in a ball and foaming at the mouth if I didn't have my coffee. It's not the caffeine for me but the taste and that sense of peace I get with the first sip.

Everyone ( exept the youngest one who only drinks tea sometimes) in our household drinks tea! Dad drinks coffee as well as tea.

Both. I am a coffee drinker for the most part. My hubby, however, is an iced tea drinker. For Christmas I bought him a fancy schmancy automatic ice tea maker. He loves that thing.

love both, drink coffee in the morning and tea in afternoon

same here.... it isnt morning without coffee, it isnt afternoon without tea.

i find tea in the morning tastes 'thin'..no other way to describe it..and it upsets my stomach.

No coffee drinkers in my house. If you are a coffee drinking houseguest, I'll pull the coffee maker (wedding gift from 26 yes ago) down and make you some, although better if you make your own to your liking, since I wouldn't know if it's good or not! I drink tea daily, a couple of me kids drink tea , husband drinks neither.

Come from a Norwegian coffee-only family, but have been in the tea business over a decade and would never go back :) Tea is #2 consumed beverage in the world after water, by most reports. The U.S. is catching up now with specialty tea coming into coffee houses. I just started a YouTube channel on tea and this is on how to easily make shaken iced tea at home, like a barista: http://bit.ly/2pBptFc

In my family we put a bit of tea, lots of milk and a dash of sugar in the kids bottles. Thus we are all tea drinkers, my kids love making Grampy tea. Super strong Irish tea with milk and a heaping dose of sugar. Just how my dad used to make it! Never did like the taste or smell of coffee, but my kids both drink it now that they are in college. One with lots of flavored sweeteners and the other just strong espresso.
