just bought a condo on a lake, and need a color recommendation. All trim is white, natural wood floors. These pics are from the prior owner, so I have removed a lot of the clutter. I am going for a beachy/cottagy look and will be using soft blues, aquas and chippy whites throughout. Thought of doing a taupe, khaki or warm gray here, and using the blues in some of the bedrooms and baths. I want to keep it bright and considered using a bright white, but the brick of the fireplace is very creamy. I love the contrast of a taupe wall with the white trim, just don't want it to look dark, and don't want to compete with the blues and greens of the lake view. Any paint color ideas are greatly appreciated!
