I like placing artwork around the TV. I'm working on a lake property where we are mounting a pair of oars, placed horizontally, above the TV

I'd say three to four small pieces of art or two large ones, OR a shelve that is the same dark brown as the tv stand.

My new favortie thing is vinyl wall art. Easy to install, Inexpensive and it doesn't damage the walls. Plus bonus there are thousands of designs to select.

you may go for wall art, draw delicate patterns like creepers and birds and also light up the entire wall with led series lighting. you could also fix some glass platforms and put decorative pieces on them. or else go for an entire glass cabinet around your tv and decorate it at free will.

Yep! Me too, a longer media console is needed, and tho I like the shelves, the bottom one is too close to the TV.
