What material and lighting is used to create the lighted blue affect?

I would love to replicate this look but in Oklahoma State Orange.

We used an led strip light and a transformer which allows many options of different hues

Yes it is frosted glass that is back lit

I would really appreciate learning more about how you created the backlit bar back. How thick is the glass? To create the frosted look, was the glass sand-blasted or acid treated? Did you use LED light strips only around the perimeter or was more LED used? What LED product did you use? (Manufacturer, Part Number?) How much space is between the glass and the wall behind it? My wife and I are nearly done with our bar renovation and this is the last piece. We are having a very difficult time finding anyone in the DC area experienced in this type of treatment. Any help would be very much appreciated. Regards. Jim

We are in the same boat - we are close to finishing our bar resto and this is our last piece. Any specifics would be greatly Appreciated! It's a beautiful bar. Thank you for taking the time to answer.
