I actually just came across this photo. You can do a built-in to maximize that entire space. Possibly even creating storage space in the benches. Stain/finish the benches and table to tie in with the rest of your kitchen. And then you can use the cushions as an accent. Because the cushions are interchangeable, you can change the colors whenever you want. Good luck!
