Meghan’s penchant for design began at a very early age. Having a deep appreciation for history, travel along with a sense of place, her design philosophy is less about starting from scratch than starting with an item of inspiration that may already exist in the home that informs the overall design story. A collection of pottery or a chair that has been inherited from a family member might be the perfect jumping off point. Antiques, vintage, and modern pieces are all incorporated into each project to create a modern look rooted in classicism. Meghan currently lives with her children, Liam and Cora, and her husband, Dave, in Arlington.
Meghan is as pleasant to work with as she is talented. I have worked with her twice now on both my business and then on a new living space we added in our home. The space came out drop dead gorgeous (as did my business) and she was so creative in the

The design aspects of the project were absolutely terrific. We had a small bathroom that we wanted to expand (by taking out a closet), and needed to build in space for clothes (given the missing closet). We took their recommendation for a contractor and he was terrific as well. The process was collaborative, overall. If we had a minor complaint, it was that there some charges we felt were unncessary (and unnecessarily high). That said, we are very pleased with the final product!

Laura Waxman Interior DesignsInterior Designers & Decorators, Interior DesignTypical Job Cost: $25,000 - 200,000
My background is a BSBA in marketing. I discovered my passion for design while building my own home in 1999. Friends constantly asked "Who helped you with the interior design?" This lead to many friends & family asking for my help with their homes once they discovered I designed my home. I decided to explore a certificate program in interior design to expand my knowledge in the industry. This coupled with my business background & building experience launched me into my new career in January of 1995 when I started Laura Waxman Interior Designs. We begin with an 1 hour complimentary consultation to discuss your objectives. From here I begin the design process with you based on your individual style and my expertise advice to help guide you throughout the project. I will help coordinate with contractors & subs for the preliminary bids to the finished project by managing the entire design team. I will partner with you to create the finishes that will pull your home together. This includes custom window treatments, blinds, bedding, custom cabinetry, furniture, lighting, rugs, tile, hardwood flooring, paint & accessory selections. Your ideas and vision will be transformed into implementation with my ability to clarify the design process. I will help you simplify these paralyzing decisions by partnering with you. In turn you will end up with a flawless and confident design experience. Ultimately helping to make your house a home that reflects you!
Laura was our designer for a major renovation of our home, including new flooring, kitchen counters and backsplash, built‑in wall, a redesigned fireplace, a full bathroom gut renovation, and all new furniture and paint on the main floor. She quickly understood our design preferences and used her expertise to execute our vision, pushing our boundaries in all the right ways. Her taste is exceptional, and she has a great eye for quality, color, and detail. She is a joy to work with—organized, timely, and deeply committed to finding talented and skilled professionals, as well as beautiful furniture pieces. We also benefited from her designer discounts, and her fee is fair, reasonable, and absolutely well earned. We could not recommend Laura more highly. We genuinely loved working with her and recommend her —not just as a designer, but as someone you’ll enjoy having by your side throughout the process.

Understanding our clients needs and desires sets us apart as an award winning client-centered studio. We see every space as an opportunity to tell a unique story incorporating our clients' passions, tastes, travels, and heirlooms. Our clients are our partners in design. They're looking for an in-depth approach, including collaborative sourcing trips and hands-on selection of fabrics and finishes. We manage the design process using material presentations aided by 3D modeling while handling all of the project details. Tapping our network of artisans, vendors, and skilled tradespeople, we complete the creative vision.
Don't look any further in the Boston area for a design professional. I initially contacted Heather Vaughan as I found her portfolio of completed design jobs so eclectic. Her rooms range from elegant Hollywood glamorous, beach house casual, to funky vibrant. To me this showed her ability to listen to the client and to be inspired by their vision. I was right! In addition, Heather was always reachable, reliably on time and responds very quickly to any question. Although my job was small, Heather made me feel like a valuable and important client. I will recommend her to friends and family and call Heather again when we move house.

Violandi + Warner InteriorsInterior Designers & Decorators, Interior Design80 Verified HiresTypical Job Cost: $25,000 - 1.5 million
A home furnishings and design studio located on Scituate Harbor. Creating successful living spaces for our clients is our main goal.
I must admit that with what were spending to build our new home, the last thing I wanted was to go over our budget and hire Interior Decorators. I really thought my wife and I would move the things from our old home, and update things over the next several years to give us the home we envisioned. Half way through our build, we were faced with questions from the builder like, what do you want the doors to look like? How about the style of the windows? How many panes for the windows? What trim do you want around the doors and windows? That was when we realized that we had a vision for what the outside of our house would look like, but we had no clear focus on what we wanted the interior details to look like. We thought we did, but when it came to decisions, we could not get consensus. It was both frustrating and time consuming. It was our daughter who insisted we get a professional. After numerous interviews we met with Robin and Caroline. Put simply, the investment of Robin and Caroline's services was the smartest decision of our whole project. Everything came out sooooo much better than we thought possible. I believe our investment has increased the value of our home tremendously. The interior details are impressive. Everything is tied together in such a special way, the lighting, the fixtures, the moldings, the carpet, the tile, the builtins and the furniture, They had a vision after meeting with us several times and then made it happen. We enjoyed working with them and special thanks to Delaney, I would highly recommend.
