This is Restoration Hardward linen. There are many subtle rustic/elegant colors to choose from. This particular color would work well with cherry. No need to go too crazy with color as an overreaction to beige. Be careful since cherry wood can look horrible with certain colors and undertones.

Thx for the advice...hubby has taken a stab at choosing Benjamin Moore Copley grey HC104 and fresh air 211 with Moroccan red 1309 accents throughout the room...fresh air is very comfy to us (off white again LOL) and I'm ok with Moroccan red pillow etc accents, but not so sure about painting a whole wall Copley grey...maybe I'll put that on the wall where our new 5' x 4' print of rope bridge and tree from ikea is going

Red is one of those colors that you really have to be careful with if you have cherry furniture and orangy pine floors.

I wondered about that ...many thx for the warning leelee. I will be sure it doesn't go on any walls then...I can always easily and cheaply change pillow covers etc...thx again

Did you look at the Restoration Hardware linen duvets? They come in a variety of colors. Men need something to look at.
