Accent windowsill

Hey guys,
The paint is pealing on my windowsill and it needs some work. I'm going to sand it down and repaint but I thought adding a bit of color might be nice. I don't want to do a whole apartment painting project so I'd like to restrict it to the windowsill only. Any ideas for color?

Thanks guys, I didn't know that "accent windowsills" weren't really a thing :) I'll just match the white paint of the walls.

And Anne, good memory! The bike is wall mounted and it looks MUCH better. Thanks for the tip!

I kind of like it how it is. I would just bring your color in with accessories. That's just me though!!

I don't think you need to paint the window sill an accent colour ;-)
Did you get around to hanging up the bike to free up that added space you were looking for?

If u paint the window sill your going to have to paint the whole room and the color I would tell u to paint the whole room would be white

You could install travertine tile along the sill.
