    Thank you For your inquiry The Measurements of the Chandelier with Shades Shown: The lowest part of the chandelier, even with our shades in place, is the finial. Height: from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial is 40”. This can be easily shortened by nipping the rod to as little as about 26” or anywhere in-between. If we attached the canopy to the top plate...we could shorten it to about 24” in height. It has a diameter of 23” with our 0319 shades.

    Yes, This fixture has 2 1/4" fitters, so you can use your own 2 1/4" fitter shades or choose from our selection.
