In my dining room we have a staircase leading downstairs to basement. We took down the wall and door, and just left a half wall, because before the dining room looked to closed in and small. Now it feels more spacious, but there are 2 huge blank walls that I can't figure out how to handle.

I personally can't reach the corner, because the stairs go down. I suppose a handyman can help me. But what kind of artwork can I use? It looks too blank and boring. FYI, the other dining room wall is also blank, which I don't want either.

There is a white chair rail all around, French Doors leading to deck, and lower wall is Robins Egg Blue, upper wall is like a pale buff color.
