My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Outdoor use?

Can this fan be used on an outdoor covered patio? It wouldn't be subject to elements directly but under a porch.

    Unfortunately this fan is UL listed for dry locations only. In other words for use indoors. For covered outdoor areas you need a fan that is rated for use in outdoor damp or outdoor wet locations. If you use an indoor fan outdoors you run the risk of the fan shorting out from excess moisture and potentially causing a fire. You will also void the warranty.

    You are correct, it is not CSA approved.

    FYI: We do not ship any of our ceiling fans outside the US due to special requirements and customs issues that cannot be handled through Houzz.
