Those are not Knockout roses, 'mother bear' is mistaken. My guess would be a polyantha such as Mrs R M Finch. The flowers and leaves do not match that of a knockout as best I can see. Not only that but Knockouts have wicked thorns of which I don't see in this picture. :) Polyanthas are popular landscape roses, there flowers are grown in clusters as in this picture. Noisettes, another class of roses that grow much the same way though I believe this picture is too far north for it to be of that class of rose.

I take that back this picture is in California and could be a type of Noisette. You can grow just about any type of rose there. I still think a type of polyantha however.

Looks like "Dainty Bess" or "Ballerina" both roses bloom in lovely pink clusters.
Just a guess on my part, I agree it's not a knockout rose.

(On second thought, it's probably not the roses I mentioned above. Try searching for "The Fairy" rose, the blooms look much more like those of The Fairy.)

Is this Flower Carpet Appleblossom?

If the foliage is glossy, they're self-cleaning (petals drop off easily) and you've had them for a while they may be Flower Carpet Appleblossom.

The blossoms do look like "The Fairy" to me also. Sometimes it's so hard to tell!
