Need your help to select hardwood for complete renovation and new floor in a home (transitional timeless elegant design). There are samples of 2 products that they both love.... so need your help to decide.... Garrison Hardwood Floors » Villa Gialla - European French Oak
A. Color: Varese - Wire Brushed & Handscraped
B. Color: Marsala -Wire Brushed

Personally I like the first sample, warmer tones appeal to me. But if your walls have more gray tones the second sample would probable look best. Photos of the areas you are planning to put this new flooring would give others better ideas thus giving you more solid answers.

Thanks.... I will be selecting new wall colours as well.... so blank canvas....

The plan is to use the hardwood throughout the home... hallway, kitchen, dining room, family room, upper hall, and all bedrooms. The stairs railing and risers will be stained to match the floor.... painted white walls on stairs (BM Cloud white or Dove White), black wrought iron pickets on stairs.... Kitchen will also be renovated cloud white parameter and dark island....

Photography is tricky. I wish I could see the real samples. That said, I prefer the second, it is warm, less rustic and the most flexible option for long term enjoyment for years to come. The key is to understand your clients furnishings taste so the wood flooring which sets the entire foundation will complement everything else.
