What type and brand of sheer treatment did you use in the window?

The sheer treatment looks terrific layered underneath the roman shade! Can you give the details on type and source for the sheer? I can't tell from the photo exactly what is going on, but I love the look. I'm contemplating doing something similar in a bedroom where we need to let light in but obscure a less-than-stellar view.

Is that roman shade faux or truly functional? Do you think a Silhouette and a roman shade is too much? I've selected a fabric that I love for a roman shade, but I need to have privacy too (street facing window). Was wondering if both were overkill. Any suggestions to address the privacy issue?

How does Hunter Douglas compare to the other brands that are out there? esp. Lutron
