I took some of your advice and went with a granite that had a little more character than the bland one I was going to choose and although I think it may still blend a little too much with my floors. .I think it looks ok. .. but the next step is another hard one for me.. back splash !! I think I really love the glass look but I really think it's something that will go out of style and I really don't think I want that but its not a definitely no either!! My lighting in this room is not the best but I will show you some of the pictures I have and hopefully you fine fokes can help me put all this together. .. I painted the bar wall the color of the kitchen wall but if you have a better solution on that ,I would appreciate that also..
