Need help with brick floor in remodeling

We are transitioning from our screened porch to a sunroom/rehab room for our son who is in a wheelchair right now. We have had our brick paver floor down for 15 years, fitting tightly together on sand on marine plywood. We want to keep the brick floor, but clean and finish it so that the bricks are stationary with a glossy finish. Is there a way we could do this without having to remove the bricks- it's a large room and I'm concerned it might not be as level as it is now for the wheelchair to move across. Is there a finish out there that could be applied on the bricks that would cover them and ooze down into the narrow gaps and harden to be able to mop it and look similar to a mortared brick floor?

Bricks are not meant to be glossy so I don't quite understand why you'd want to do this. If you put some kind of coating on them you'll also be covering the sand which is between them and that doesn't work. Can you not just leave it as it is?

I want a slick surface so it's easy to clean. They will be laid tight, so the volume of sand in the interstices is minimal. And I like the look of a semi-gloss finish.

Then I think you should put in a different floor to get the performance you're looking for.

I want to retain the ability to pull up a section of floor if we ever have problems with the radiant we're installing underneath. The brick is free, from another remodel we're doing. I know this is unusual, but I don't think it's impossible. Thanks for your input.
