I do not think the art is “fighting with the hand towel.” I think it looks fine. It is quirky... but it is also a fact of life that a bit of the unexpected can add a lot to a space. It is really all in the details... As Charles Eames said: “The details are not the details. They make the design.”

All of that said: My take on the space is that, for a guest bath, it is oftentimes helpful to approach the space with the general mindset of it being a hotel bathroom. And for that, imo, your art is a bit strong. Art is a very personal thing. And I can understand that you may want the bathroom to be a bit dramatic. But there are other ways to introduce drama. You could get a leopard print soap dispenser. Maybe more dramatic light fixtures(s). Your art does not need to look like the guest(s) just landed at Little House on the Prairie - but they should not be scared to go into the bathroom. :)

Wallpaper is also very taste specific. So my suggestion would be to just get art that is more guest friendly, and take it from there. Hopefully, whatever lighting you have in the space is dimmable - so that guests can set their own lighting levels, for mood and comfort.

I like the dark walls I would make sure your guests get a nice caddy for their stuff they need ,nothing in the shelf under the sink. Maybe a couple of huge bath towels there but not in that pattern you show with the one on the counter , that does nothing for the space as far as inviting .A nice one piece toilet would have been a good choice . No TP sitting on the toilet that is wy you have the basket and something aliitle more upscale for the lighting.Sorry thought guest bath but this is just a PR right ? If that is the case then wallpaper is a great choice on all the walls , PRs can be way over the top in a very fun way.

I do not think it is a powder room. But if it is - do whatever you want in there. But no cloth hand towels. You need disposable hand towels for a powder room.

And you need to specify whether this is for a guest bathroom or a powder room.

We want the house to feel intentionally designed rather than like each room was decorated independently so attaching sample of paper used in another room in home should help.
