I would go simple with the drapery - beige linen on a thick dark brown rod and hang them quite high. Then go with a colorful (and large enough) rug which coordinates with the raspberry chairs. Would move 2 pillows from the couch and place them on the chairs and move its pillow to couch. Your coffee could be made a bit more interesting...large wooden bowl, coffee table books...etc.

Go to your fav search engine and type in " rug". The only thing you need is a rug with some matching red in it to compliment your chair! I envy your assignment! This room will be sooo much fun to work with but always, always begin with a rug! Your accent pillows and then window coverings will naturally follow. BTW, accents don't have to match. Pillows can be a couple of patterns and windows can be kept streamlined with shades. Enjoy yourself!

Beautiful room! Check out the Pottery Barn Kilim rugs which have red and cream to coordinate with your furniture. They also have a global feel, are relatively inexpensive and are very current.

I agree with the other comment to keep your drapes in a neutral color ( rod installed halfway between the ceiling and the top of your window).

Please keep the narrow window the way it is. I agree with removing a few of the pillows. One of the bold zig zag area rugs could be great in your almost perfect room.
