Master Bedroom flooring makeover suggestion-- Nirvan plus lakeside village Maple laminate?

I am undecide which wood flooring to pick for my master bedroom makeover . You think maple laminate flooring look better with my existing furniture or the sundance birch brown flooring. Or perhap any other suggestion. I just have the sundance birch engineering flooring installed in my living room and not 100% sure I like if I install in my other bedroom as it is too match for my furniture in my master bedroom. Thanks in advance for any suggestion!

I'd do the lighter flooring otherwise make sure you do a light or colorful rug on the dark floor to create some contrast.

I have the same color walls in your master and exact same bed! We put down Maple colored laminate (high quaility Swiflock (sp) and it looks great!

I promise to taka a picture and get it uploaded by the end of the week. Having bed skirt split by seamstres and putting lovely quilt set on the bed and would like it in the photo. I think you would like the contrast like Mona mentioned in her response.

I think you should have a consistant look for the floor that is wood looking. I think it makes the house look choppy and calls attention to the floors in not a good way when you go to sell.

That is true wood floor or laminate needs consistentcy.

At least be similar in color and same flooring upstairs and downstairs if you have a 2 story.

cchu, I just posted a photo of my master bedroom with the cherry furniture, sage green walls and light maple colored laminate. I know you wanted to see how the contrast looked in the room.
