What you purchase would be driven by the space you need to fill (is it going back into a space of a certain size) and the features you actually use. What we have found over the years is that 95+% of the people we deal with don't actually use their microwave except to reheat some things, for popcorn and for melting butter, etc. It seems to be a real waste of money to purchase expensive microwaves with various features and not use them. We recommend purchasing the least expensive unit that will provide the needed features and using any extra funds for other things.

We have a Sharp we like. Salesman told us even high end micros are really made by Sharp so no need to spend a lot.
