We have the armchairs and I love them. Very comfortable and easy to clean.

I should've chosen, I would if I could afford it. My hubby doesn't quite understand the art of investment pieces in the home. I'm working on him. hehehe

I got a cheap replica and the base was so flimsy, I had to return it. Could never justify paying for the real thing.

If you look hard enough you can find them below retail. I found 6 side chairs for $50 each but my last one was $30. I passed on a chipped one with no base for $20.

You get what you pay for. A decent replica should be close to $70. Don't buy it if you can't try it.

My neighbor has an original Eames lounger/stool from the 60s. She wanted what she wanted- and ate spaghetti, canned tuna an tomato sauce for 3 months to pay for it. I get it. NOTHING compares to the original, as much as I respect Manhatten Home Design.

I love them, but my husband doesn't get it either. Plus, they are a little rich for something he doesn't appreciate.
