We justices on Saturday. (Please disregard the mess and toys I'm the photo). Prior to moving, we painted the whole house gray (excluding the dining) and refinished the floor (the dark stain). We didn't paint the dining room because I was so sure I was going to wallpaper. I had selected an indigo blue grass cloth. Now that we are in the house, I wonder if I wallpapered if it would make the rooms look too choppy? Is it a statement or a challenge? So should I wallpaper the ceiling of the dining instead? Or perhaps I shouldn't do something to the walls and come up with some dramatic drapes or wild upholstered wing chairs for the dining.... I guess my question is where do I make the statement? Wallpaper? Ceiling? Drapes? Colorful dining end chairs? And how much is too much?
