Do you think white high gloss kitchen cabinets would suit an old 1940's home or is it too sleek and should only be used in modern homes?

I think something else might be better, but it certainly is done.

Use pearl finish or a Semi Gloss , high gloss had the tendency to show imperfections (if they have a ding or two). I would also get someone to spray them for you, it can cost a little more but the finish looks amazing - no roller marks, no brush marks and no mess!

HI, can you add a photo in the comments of your existing kitchen? There could be a few touches you add that conjure up the 1940s style while still sticking to the gloss finish overall...
