Those are not seams. They were scored on purpose for the look. Some are scored smaller and makes it look like tile. We have stained and scored concrete floors. Love them.easy upkeep and will never wear out.

The seams are located strategically for the aesthetic, but they are also necessary for crack control. We try to make these utilitarian necessities and incorporate them in a way that supports the aesthetic of the Architecture.

I have 5/8 inch hand tooled joints in my concrete topping slab that my concrete polisher warns are likely to spawl if he runs the big polishing maching over them. He recommends that we pay extra to hand polish along the edges of the joints. The only downside is that he warns there will be a "halo" along the joint edges. He has no pictures of what the halo might look like. I was wondering if these joints were maybe hand polished as it looks like there is a small color difference along the joint edges in a couple of these pictures. I'm trying to visualize what the edges will look like before committing to the floor polisher.
