Thanks! She's very creative and cheap (or, um, frugal!), like her Mom. The sink and faucet came to only about $140. We already had the paint and varnish so, pretty good deal all around.

There's nothing wrong with economizing as it should be referred to. Cheap sounds so low brow -:))))

This came out beautifully! We found an old dresser in a junk shop for ten bucks and repurposed it for our master bath vanity. We love it!

Very nice! Do the drawers still work? I think that would be hard to do, but possible and worthwhile. I love to paint the outlets with the spray hammered silver paint. Can be really effective and doesn't chip if you let it harden.

I want a mirror exactly like it. Please share the source.

Thanks everyone! The drawers don't work. Just the face was saved to make room for the plumbing. Saltcitybabe-the mirror came from Old Time Pottery. Not sure of the manufacturer. Again, my daughter chose it. Littledeb50-both of your sister's vanities are awesome. i love the bath with the stripes. Very fun! Thanks for sharing.

The bowl is actually centered. Just looks off as we put the faucet to the side (and the angle of the picture). I used 3 coats of gloss acrylic polyurethane.

Loooooove the repurposed desk. What color did you use on the walls. It's loooooovely.

Lovely! Love the wall color with the white, and the clear sink just makes it. Perfect solution when you don't need hidden storage under the sink.

Love it! I repurposed a small dining table that had the sides that fold down years ago for my bathroom. I cut a hole in it to drop the sink in. The one drop side I left on to hide the bowl, and put the other against the wall to use as a back splash. We put in a closet system and took out some of the wire hanger holders, and I used a piece of that spray painted black on the bottom to use as a shelf. I have two wicker baskets on it that hold my hair dryer, curling irons, etc. Still love it after all these years! I just stained it and polyed it

I just finished up with a refurbished piece of furniture. I took a bookshelf out of my neighbors garbage and had my brother cut it down and then I did the painting. I lined the back of the bottom 2 two shelves with some left over bead board from my kitchen renovation and then I had the back of the first shelf cut out for the width of the microwave.
