I'm split 60/40 between "Modern Elegance" and "Vintage Modern". I like the orderly, no nonsense approach to the modern elegance style with the clean lines (1st photo) but enjoy the casual, eclectic spirit in vintage modern (2nd photo).

Fun, Manon! And isn't that kind of funny. I'd have thought I was largely British Colonial, American Federal, international influence with a newer artistic twist.

Instead, it says I'm Nantucket, French Eclectic with a little Cottage Chic. I suppose that makes some sense, as I did decorate my summer cottage in the '90's with Nantucket style in mind, Nantucket being across the bay. And in researching my family recently, I found that I have French Canadian and Native American roots going back through maternal generations. The cool thing was that when a new-found cousin emailed me a photo of my grand and great grandmothers' generation, in great grandmother's house, it could have been mine! The hefty lines of the federal mahogany sofa, botanicals on the wall, a tribal rug...

The family research was to find relatives to alert them of a genetic condition that caused the early demise of a great line of women -- my point being, I never knew my grandmother or great-grand. But as strongly as my own sense of style was influenced by my mother, who was an amazing artist and created beautiful homes, I could see that her talent went back through the maternal generations. Hence, I shouldn't be so surprised to see French. Cool!

Not sure it was as accurate for me. It registered my leanings towards arts and crafts movement furniture and kilim rugs, a bit inaccurately, as 60% "Southwest Style" and the rest as "Vintage Modern". But it didn't really capture any of my eclectic or beach cottage or spare, modern industrial leanings in the mix.

Well, I wouldn't say I'm a country girl, but it split my leanings between classic (I agree) and coountry, with a strong leaning toward vintage modern (yes to that). Fun! So I'm all over the place!

Entertaining quiz Manon. My results came out 67% cottage chic which doesn't surprise me based on the kind of inspiration photos I'm drawn to in my idea book. It is however quit different from my own home which has strong rustic leanings...lots of wood, earth colors, stone.

I got classic, which fits because I have a traditional style and I really don't like modern!
