Where to put my outdoor kitchen?

I am really struggling with where to put my outdoor kitchen. Options as I see them are:
Run a countertop to the right of the pool shed/room and put all appliance in a row, but is that too far from the house?
Or put the kitchen in the little alcove (below the towels) creating a U shaped outdoor kitchen.

Option C i like. Aline appliances 18 feet away (and paralell) of front of patio doors. I'm thinking guests walking out of patio doors will be faced immediately with a buffet like set up

Hi Daryl,

An important consideration would be whether or not you plan on including electricity (required for outdoor refrigeration or rotisserie grill), running water (do you want a prep sink? Ice maker?) and a gas line. Having the kitchen adjacent to an exterior wall of your home will make these installations easier and more cost efficient.

We debated this same question before building our outdoor kitchen. We ultimately decided closest to the doors from the house to our deck was the most efficient, cost effective location. Carrying food, dishes, etc. from the house to the deck is so much easier than carrying everything across the lawn.
