My only recent experience with Ben Moore was today when I found out that their sample paint is not the same as the gallon paint. A different sheen. Just a heads up. :) Good luck!

Benjamin Moore and Dunn Edwards are your best exterior paints because the last against the weather. You don't have to paint as often, so keep that in mind when you are considering cost.

Ben Moore Aura

We don't usually use Ben Moore but did so on a recent project because of Houzz reviews. We used the Regal line at the recommendation of the local BM distributor and it performed very poorly. It took 3-4 coats to get any coverage. We will not use Ben Moore again. We went back to Sherwin Williams.

Wow. aura is about 60 bucks a can. I think worth it. I have painted every room in my house with it

I have used both Benjamin Moore’s “Regal” and their less expensive line “Ben.” In my opinion so far I like the Ben very much too. I tended to add a bit of Floetrol to the thick Regal if I needed more ease in spreadability. I don’t need to do that with the Ben line because it is slightly less thick than Regal. I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in coverage or color between the two, so I am happy with the Ben option! Hope that helps.
