Love this space! What is the flooring made of? Our basement flooded recently and we had premium carpet - cost $4700 just to rip it out and dry out the floors. So, we're thinking of a wood laminate floor this time! Love how this is textured.

The floor is engineer hand-scraped walnut, however if your basement if prone to flooding I would recommend a porcelain tile that looks like wood to achieve a similar look.
