My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Corresponding floors and countertops

We are swapping the nasty sheet vinyl for pretty (budget) floors.

Also changing the counters for something more desirable.

Currently we have to keep the appliances and cabinets for now.

Please advise!

    If you are looking for pulls, I found great value on EBay. Both surfaces you are looking at updating play a huge role in how the light will be affected in the space. Take a look at cork products. They are affordable, easy on the feet and durable. Based on the inspiration pictures you posted, you are looking for stone or quartz. There are varying price points on stone but keep porosity and maintenance in mind when choosing that surface. Have fun with it!
