Entryroom help needed- small space... needs a lift!!!!

Hi! the room we enter in our home is called our sunroom 12 x 16 room. The entry door is centered on the wall with windows on each side. The other walls have windows too. We do not have a closet in that room. We use this room as a small sitting room and wear we put on our coats and shoes to leave the home. we have a piano in the room. I am willing to move it to another wall in that room
1. need help with arrangement of furniture? should we opt for a love seat or 2 chairs and a small table- like a café area? coffee table? add anything?
2. should we paint the oak colored trim?
3. paint color ideas?
any advice would be great!

Have a clear path when you enter - move sofa facing door- create space. Don't paint wood trim. Keep it simple

Okay, nice room,put the couch in front of the windows but a foot or two away from the window. Is there a tv in this room?

I love the trim, especially with those beautiful beams! I agree with rinqreation: Do not paint. If it were my room I would simplify it by taking down the valances, replacing the clusters of small framed art and other wall ornamentation with just a few single larger pieces, and generally declutter. The room has beautiful bone structure, which needs to be emphasized.

Thank you for the advice! I def. wont paint the trim! I am going to put the sofa on the large window wall and see what it looks like. Ill have to take out the leather chair. I think it may look strange having a piano on one wall and the opposite wall have a sofa. that's why I was thinking maybe a small table and 2 small chairs like a café area. simple. not sure! I like the pottery barn style that's why I have the photo clusters!
