Sideboard and table proportion

If this is the same sideboard I'm thinking of, it's about 105" wide. Would it be too large of a piece running perpendicular to my dining table (which is 40" wide not including the overall width with chairs)?

Hard to tell without knowing the size of your room and what else is there. Best to draw out a floor plan to see the scale of all the pieces in the room.
