We are finishing our basement, and we are now ready to choose some carpet. I have fallen in love with a polyester PET carpet, Phenix Lakefront, but keep hearing that nylon is the better choice. The nylon carpet we are looking at, Bliss Indulgence Remembrance, is super soft but not as cushion-ey and doesn't have as much face weight as the polyester. I have an active family, 3 kids, and will be dealing with stains and crazy boys. Any advice on if the PET is just as good as the nylon?
