What is the tile? Can it be used for floor and shower?

Can the tile be used throughout the bathroom, including floor, walls and shower enclosure? Where can it be purchased?

Hello,

The porcelain tile used in this bathroom is Sandstone / GY302 (30cm x 60cm) from the Italian tile company Edilcuoghi. http://www.edilcuoghi.it/index_en.html It can be (and was) used throughout the bathroom on floors, walls and the shower enclosure. However, using large format tiles on shower floors is not recommended because it can be a slipping hazard. I'd suggest finding a smaller tile module (similar the mosaic we used - see image attached) for the shower floor. The tile can be purchased through trade showrooms. Your tile setter should be able to purchase it for you.

Specceramics.com can help you with Edilcuoghi.....and we can cut down larger tiles to mesh mounted mosaics (smaller tiles) for shower floors to help with drainage and grip.
