The walls are matte and the trim is semi-gloss. Thanks for your question and good luck with your project.

When you say the trim do you just mean base boards and crown moldings in semi gloss? Is the entire wall finished in matte with trim accents in semi gloss? So confused? I have an entire wall of wood and trim work that looks just like this and am worried they are going to paint the entire thing semi gloss and will be too shiny for this cathedral vaulted room??? SOS!!

Candice, We do mean just the baseboards and crown moldings are painted in a semi-gloss while the picture molding and other applied trim at the stairs are painted in matte to blend with the wall surface to which it is applied. So sorry for any confusion we may have caused you! Hopefully this clears it up. Good Luck with your project.
