Stain Colour?

I would love to know the stain colour of the siding if it is a Benj Moore product. Much appreciated.

We ended up doing the same thing! We finally settled on Benjamin Moore River Rock tint in ArborCoat Semi transparent stain. It is not quite as sage a green you see in this house but we had spent too much time finding a green we liked. It looks good but because of the different grains in the cedar boards, there are variations of the green tint that surfaces every now and again, although not really noticeable from a distance. If you go the ArborCoat route, make sure the stain is stirred very well, and often, as the darker tint settles easily.

Hello, Thanks so much for the inquiry. Unfortunately, we're not certain what stain was used or if it was Benjamin Moore and the original homeowners have since moved. You could probably bring the photo to a Benjamin Moore store and they could help you pick something that matched. Thanks again, Timberpeg

I have been all over the place trying to find someone that can help me figure out this stain color and no luck. The employees of every shop simply don't have the experience and tell me that I just have to keep buying and trying different colors until I find something close to this color and it's getting expensive. Our contractor needed our stain color(s) for our new home yesterday and I'm still trying to match this house. Can anyone help?

My best guess would be Cabot 'dark slate' semi-transparent stain.
