I am thankful for time. I am a cancer survivor and I have realized that one of the most important gifts that a person can have is the gift of time. Time to share with family and friends. Time to make wonderful memories and Time to remember the old memories. Time to do what you want and not put off till tomorrow the important stuff and Time to just look out a window and see that there is beauty in everything around us.

Thankful for the challenges in my life, as they have being my greatest motivations to become a better human being: more grateful, faithful, happier despite external events. My special child has being the greatest gift of all.

I am thankful to be alive and that I knew that women's heart attack symptoms can be different than a man's symptoms, that I called 911 and didn't wait because I might be embarrassed if it was something less serious and for my doctor who kept me in for observation even though my symptoms went away and the cardiologist who placed two stents in my heart early the next morning to clear the two 75% blockages in my artery. Of course for my family that was there to help me through this totally unexpected journey. Please ladies and the people who love them look up symptoms of heart attack in women (and men) just in case. Please be well.

I am so thankful that I wake up everyday to the love of my life...even after almost 32 years and 3 beautiful children (that weren't always so easy to handle) and for God, that has walked beside us all 32 years and blessed us with each other.

I'm so thankful for my wonderful family, that we are still very close though we live in different states. Of course God, who has been so good to us. Our small town because when we moved here three years ago we didn't know anybody and now we have so many dear friends and are loving it here!!

I'm thankful to share Thanksgiving with my 87 year old father and some of my siblings. All my children are here and my husband is a big help. I''m thankful that we have worked hard for what we have and are generous to help less fortunate people. Thank you God for giving me a great outlook on life. I love & miss you Mom, hope you're having fun in Heaven!

I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR MY WALK WITH MY LORD JESUS AND FOR ALL HIS BLESSINGS HE HAS SHOWERED ME WITH MY WHOLE LIFE INCLUDING MY SON AND TWIN GIRLS ALL IN LATE 50'S AND EARLY 60'S

First and foremost, I am thankful that God took pity on humanity and sent His Son to redeem us from our sins. My sins were like a ton of bricks that I was needlessly carrying. He was born to take my sins away! And now I am happy all the day (as the song goes). Everything I have is a gift from God, and I am so thankful that I have a home, a car, food, peace and joy.

I am thankful for my health, at 63 years of age, it hasn't always been great and I have the scars to show for it. I'm thankful for the competent surgeons I have had to work on me.

I am so thankful for the love of my life. We met online 6 years ago and just celebrated our 5th anniversary last month. I couldn't have asked for a more loving and compassionate soulmate.

I am thankful for my family and friends who enrich my life and are so dear to me.

I am also thankful that the whole house remodel is almost done and I won't have to live in the construction zone much longer. ;)

So much here that I echo. This home of my own, that will be paid for in nine years. Family who, if you fall in a hole, have to come and pull you out. Experience, which enables me to fall in far fewer holes than when I was, say, 30 years old. The gift of sight, because the world is so unbearably, fleetingly, beautiful. Dog, cat, boyfriend. Good job, great boss who understands about priorities. Health.

For love, health, education, opportunities, clean air water & food, seeing stars above at night, music, my children, so many ways to communicate in today's world, all others in my life for the past nearly 70 years.

My 30 year friendship that allows me to laugh about our past with raising kids, my old house that is not fixed but I get to keep on fixing at 71, my neighbor who recently spent two days helping me fix my well pump (pipe was frozen but we did not know that), and although I compalin about my lack of a job, the country I live in that makes help available when the alligators are at the door. Oh yes, my felines that are old like me but keep love in my home.

My greatest gratitude is for my precious Lord. Secondly, I'm deeply grateful for my darling husband and our pups, Nick and Sophie. Our extended family and friends mean the world to us. As I contemplate the Christmas gifts we'll give in honor of selected loved ones, I'm thankful that I don't need a chicken, or a mattress and a blanket, or a bicycle to ride a long distance to school, or a manual sewing machine to try and earn a living. And I'm very grateful that I can give these items to a few in need through Child Fund International.

Living in Zimbabwe we have our own set of big problems as a country. However in all the chaos the sun has never stopped to shine. So I thank God for the beautiful weather and the lovely sun. It is like Jesus gently stroking us saying it is going to be fine, everyday! Wonderful.

I am of course thankful for all the usual things like my family, the servicemen and women who serve to keep us free. But one of the things I am most thankful for today is that after preparing a feast for my husband and our house guests, I was the only one who got horribly sick. It is a terrible fear when you are worshipping the porcelain throne for hours on end, that you may have somehow poisoned the entire group. Thank you God, that was not the case.

well it is 3 years old and have probably done before, but it all changes, don't it? I am thankful for wonderful hubby who cares for all of us, my four fuzzy children, who love me no matter what. My friends who still keep in touch with me. the health of my distant family in FL. I am thankful that my abilities are still holding well. Last but not least houzz and my friends on it and my best thoughts and wishes go out to those we have lost this past year and those who share my thoughts and i recently met.
