    The yellow flowers are Stella De Oro Daylilies (Hemerocallis). They are a dwarf form of the standard daylilies and will bloom throughout most of the growing season in the Midwest.

    how many do you need to plant to get this type of effect? Also do they multiple as years go on? love the landscape simple not tons of different plants but very Beautifully effective.
