Depends on doorways in there and the style of sconce. The shade makes a difference in the "throw" of the light. Any pics?

thanks for the reply. no pics available. this hallway leads from a west walkway on a 4th floor ocean front condo, so it's pretty dark. the walls have just been repainted white. i intend to buy wireless sconces, as there are no electrical outlets in the hall. the sconces i have in mind are decorative, about 7" high, no shade, blue glass with led lights, so they don't give off much light. i didn't know whether one would be enough, or two, placed several feet apart.

This is a very unique application! I'm afraid I cannot advise, I have never used wireless sconces, am not familiar with them. I don't know how much they illuminate, etc. I would likely use have an electrician come and hardwire sconces and a switch or sensor. Perhaps another Houzzer has experience here...

Good luck!

thanks for trying.

I would not use blue glass in a dark hall way...use cream or frosted glass...maybe clear in a nautical style...where does one get wireless sconces?

there are many internet lighting sites that carry wireless sconces. i am ordering from lighting universe. com., as their prices and selections seem best. thanks for your imput.
