Bathroom backsplash and mirror challenge

I am having a hard time deciding what to do about a back splash? Sine the sconces are so close together should I do a mirror that goes behind the sconces all the way down to the counter top and not do a backsplash? All ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi---this is a narrow space and adding the scones to either side looks awkward, making it look way off---appears the lights are in line with the sinks and not out far enough to either side... I think adding a tiled wall backsplash and having ONE large scaled sconce between two mirrors might be the best way to address this area. Hope this is helpful. Good Luck!

Hi, Looks like the right sconce is lower than the left, but that can just be the photo angle, also if it's not over 6', I would put one out in the center. Because the space is so tight, I would have put a horizontal sconce over each sink with 2 framed oval wall hung mirrors. Although your almost done, a large mirror behind everything may be the only option. Good Luck!

Definitely a backsplash! If you have any of your stone left, your fabricator can add a backsplash. Or do a subway tile. See the houzz links below

You can do cut out mirrors or just put a mirror in the center. If you opt for 2 mirrors, could you add an extra light in the middle? Also could you lower the lights?

First remove the sconces and fix the unbalanced height problem. Add a backsplash in a marble or glass tile in the same white/grey colours as the countertop. Have a mirror cut to fit the whole space above the backslash with holes for the sconces and electrical. Install mirror, then install sconces and electrical so that they sit on top of the mirror.

Those sconces are off. Are they even suitable for over a vanity, which is a damp area? The other problem is the height. I think with two sinks so close together and one so close to the pony wall, you should consider a bar light spanning the vanity.

I like ycity's idea but prefer a large panel mirror than oval ones. Large mirrors light up the bathroom more and make it look bigger. You definitely have to have a backsplash though. How about glass mosaic backsplash?

I have the same problem two sinks and not enough space on the left and right for sconces because I have towers sitting on counters oh each side. The one mirror idea with lights in the mirror is OK but I personally do not like it. So what I am doing is putting a large light in the middle of the two mirrors like one person mentioned above and one of the photos above shows. You are more limited in lights because you cannot put just one sconce it has to be a light similar to the picture they show or a double sconce so you have enough lighting but not the type that goes above the mirrors that would not look right. Also you could put lights above each mirror as well if you wanted to.
