Thx for the information! Can you tell me the mfr name and style?

It almost looks as though the tile was run on the diagonal. Do you have a link so that I can view photos of the roof in closer detail? It is a stunning property!

on this particular home, i wanted to reinforce the horizontal aspect to the home. that helps exaggerate the overhangs and elongate the roof elements.
we originally specified a local sacramento california manufacturer for the roofing., but we ended up using eagle roofing

i think it was the bel air. we just designed and built a house for a client in sandpoint idaho and we used golden eagle. we have also used ponderosa in the past up in tahoe. you want to be careful with tile and slate roofing because once it is on the house you really should not walk on it. we usually do all kinds of tricky things to gain access to the roof by providing wells which can hide solar panels, cable tv antennas and various other items.
